4 Women 4 Stories

The Exhbition Bilston Craft Gallery in conjunction with Ulfah Arts presented 4 women 4 stories. The Exhbition profiled four local female artist and their islamically inspired artwork. The Private View A womens only private view was held . A total over 80 women (capacity was 70) attended the event that took place on the last evening of the month long exhibition on 15th April after closing hours. A two-hour programme including brief speeches from the Artists, performances and poetry from a local writing group took place. This activity included partnership working with Al- Hijrah School (a Muslim school) and Women Who Write, two completely different parties coming together to learn from each other and the exhibition.
