March 2008 Danger!.......Gulaam Fatima

Is a spoken word performance about a heroic superwoman wearing a hijab who empowers all womankind to appreciate and understand their worth.


March 08 - Who are you?  a performance commission by Muslim Education Forum Luton, exploring themes of identity and citizenship, for a schools audience



February 2008 - Ammi ji, Abu ji and the Drug Wala (dear mum, dear dad and the drug dealer)- a performance commission by Right Start International exploring why young asians take drugs.


Ongoing - Divine Aubergines..... The Divine Aubergines are British practicing Muslim women and their songs conjure up the feel good factor of their faith. They sing about their reality of growing up in Britain and the role of faith in their lives. Their repertoire includes a capella as well as songs with a band inspired by different British musical influences. Watch out for tour dates soon.


Ongoing - Ulfah Collective...... Is a pool of muslim female artists that Ulfah Arts has developed. They perform to mixed or women only audeinces, to music or no music, depending on how they practise their faith. See their page to see where they are performing next.
