Friends of Ufah Arts

Ulfah Arts is a pioneering arts organisation, which acts as an umbrella to a number of initiatives specialising in faith and the arts. This includes projects around Muslim women in the arts and interfaith work using arts to name just a couple. Over the years we have developed a specific expertise in working with Islam and Muslim communities.

The work of Ulfah Arts includes:

Positive promotion of faiths and common ground in the artsDevelopment opportunities for artists working on projects that promote harmony between cultures and faithPromotion of women only activities in events, projects, education work, festivals to name a fewAdvocacy within the parameters of faith and showing how this can lead to innovation, deeper creativity and exciting artistic venturesRaising awareness amongst arts professionals and organisations of issues and barriers faced by those who may be socially excluded due to faith or culture.Leading the way in which arts will be experienced in the futureBrokering cross sector partnerships designed to reach wider audiences and increase participation.

What is a friend of Ulfah Arts?

We wish to reach as many people as possible that are interested in learning about and taking part in the arts and its relationship with Islam and other faiths. As a Friend we ask you to make a small financial contribution. Ulfah Arts receives no core funding and therefore the Friendship gift supports our activities and enables us to be able to communicate with you regularly. By becoming a Friend this enables us to show the demand and support for the work of Ulfah Arts. Also allows you to be pivotal in the development of a movement where arts are available to all and where arts can bring communities together.

Individuals

Can get discounts to events, information and opportunities to get involved in projects and be part of a greater network. Be part of the Ulfah Community and meet like minded people on a regular basis. For women interested in developing writing and performing skills they can also be part of the Ulfah Collective.

Artists

Can get advice and support about personal career goals; advocacy about arts practice, entry onto the Ulfah Arts website, and on occasions Ulfah maybe able to develop projects focusing on selected artists.

Organisations

By being associated with Ulfah your profile and visibility can be raised within the communities Ulfah works with. We will mention you on our website with links. Organisations will also receive discounted rates to other marketing services provided by Ulfah, this can increase brand loyalty as well as increase awareness and visibility of your work, stimulate sales, help you sample, display or showcase your products and communicate your commitment to social responsibility.
