We hope the two will inform each other and lead to an even more inclusive and diverse arts sector. We are keen to hear from artists and organisations about festivals, events, projects and we hope to communicate these opportunities in a way that the Muslim community will feel able to engage. Naz also commented how she believes Birmingham is leading the way when it comes to faith (Islam) and arts with a number of artists from the city winning awards such as Shaheen Ahmed, winner of the Muslim New Awards 2007.
