Ulfah has teamed up with the Birmingham Rep Theatre to create three opportunities exploring the different facets of the truth living in a multicultural Britain.

Commissioned Play

A multi-writer theatre commission exploring the stories of the Preventing Violent Extremism agenda.

Writers Development Programme

A theatre writing programme for those who want to voice the unsaid.
An eight month writers development programme for those who have an interest in writing for performance – script writing, spoken word, writing for theatre. You will receive support via a dramaturge and professional writers and will have to respond to deadlines. Some work will be selected to be performed at a festival in the summer 2011.

Applications are strongly encouraged from women who wish to write about a truth in any given situation. You must be over 18 and ideally would have had no or very limited previous writing experience.
